About the role
This role is pivotal to the delivery of high quality software and services by IT Services to the University. You will be responsible for developing quality criteria for new services, to ensure that appropriate test plans are carried out and all relevant service transition documentation is completed prior to new services going live.
You will have experience of developing test plans, identifying defects and following up to ensure remediation. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the relevant service documentation is produced to quality standards for service users and administrators.
This is an exciting role with the opportunity to contribute to the IT Services Strategy by supporting the development of the department’s self service functionality for students and staff.

About you (requirements)
You will be highly collaborative and self-motivated, with advanced knowledge of quality assurance and how it can be applied to the delivery of an excellent service. You will demonstrate excellent, facilitative customer-facing skills with the ability to communicate effectively and pass on information to a wide range of specialists and non-specialists. You will have strong problem solving and analytical capabilities, and a keen interest in technology. You will have the ability to consistently produce high quality documentation for different audiences to deadlines, with close attention to detail in all of your outputs.
